Six Degrees North is a lovely new villa, right on the beach 10 minutes north of Hikkaduwa. Most of the villa is brand new, but the original home can still be seen in the very front. Built in 1924, it has been totally renovated, recycling as much as possible The shutters and doors are all original. We used the highest quality bed linen and the furniture is all locally handmade. There is a fully equipped kitchen for guests use, however, our wonderful friendly staff are happy to cook for you. The villa faces the Indian Ocean, there is a large shady lawn with pool, and beach area inside the front fence. The wide veranda faces the ocean and is wonderfully relaxing and cool, perfect for afternoon tea or GandT as well as meals. All bedrooms have bathrooms, as well as air-conditioning and ceiling fans and there is a guests powder room. Free WiFi, Cable TV, DVD and IPod speakers available. Airport pick up can be arranged as well as tours both local and Island wide. Staff all speak English.
