Located in rural Vernon Parish only 14 miles from Fort Polk, we offer nature in a very natural site. Many wildflowers, trees, butterflies, birds, leaf cutter ants, etc. will be seen most of the year. Farm fresh eggs for breakfast daily from 17 kinds of chickens plus guineas. You can take a hike on the trails or signup for a guided nature hike. Photography is encouraged. The night sky is spectacular plus fireflys, owls, hummingbird moths, and many other animals. The house is a cozy five bedroom with a large common living room. Check-in is at 4 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
