Our house is situated directly next to the forest, in a particularly beautiful and very idyllic and charming part of the Wiehengebirge - the Bad Essen hills. The very well-known Wittekindsweg (a walking path travelled by many), runs directly next to our house. We are situated 25 km east of Osnabrück and approx. 50 km west of Porta Westfalica. The Altes Berghaus offers you the cosy, warm and friendly atmosphere of a very traditional guesthouse, which looks back on a long history, yet is still very appealing and attractive to visitors nowadays and awakes a feeling of trust and sense of well-being.
