This is a house that owes its existence to a love story between ruined buildings and the descendants of a family of share-croppers. At the end of the 18th century, Marie-Louise, Duchess of Parma, wife of Napoleon I, used it to house her border guards, the Dragons, to oversee the flourishing traffic on the Po river. In 1990 the Corte Pallavacina was bought by the present owners allowing 20 years later the Phoenix to rise again from the ashes. Today the restored guest rooms and suites welcome visitors in the "nobleā part of the edifice while the dining room offers pure regional products. Business hours of reception: Every day: from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 20:00 .
