37 Room Historic Inn and Restaurant with Liquor license, large dining room to accommodate private and public dining outside veranda with views of little Traverse Bay. Located in Bay View Association a Methodist compound of nearly Victorian cottages with a Music campus, theatre and auditorium for live concerts. In-season June through August lunch is available Tues thru Sat, Dinner Tues-Sat and Sun-Mon nights Pizza only, Inn serves wine, beer and cocktails as well. Outdoor dining on the veranda. Off-season dining weekends only, Fri/Sat in Fall and Winter months dining packages for lodging guests. Petoskey is a scenic resort community on Lake Michigan/Little Traverse Bay, 3 1/2 north of Grand Rapids, 3 1/2 hrs northwest of Detroit, and 6 hrs North of Chicago. Located on US 31 Petoskey is a great place to stay and near other smaller towns. The Inn's rooms vary from simple cottage style to deluxe suites so amenties vary accordingly. The Inn is wireless, there is no pool, but BayView has a private beach guests can use. Not all rooms have TV's, cottage plus, deluxe and suites do. This is not a "chain" hotel, it is very unique and charming.
