The Best Beech is a traditional country inn located just 7 miles from the historic town of Royal Tunbridge Wells on the East Sussex and Kent borders in the village of Wadhurst. It is perfectly placed for exploring the local countryside and is within easy reach of Scotney Castle, Chartwell the home of Sir Winston Churchill and Bewl Water the largest lake in the South East of England. We also have London on our doorstep which can be easily reached by train within the hour. Once an old coaching inn, The Best Beech has been beautifully refurbished to offer all guests the opportunity to relax in comfortable surroundings with a fresh modern feel. Our five well appointed bedrooms provide all the traditional comfort you could need, in contemporary, elegant surroundings. Four bedrooms are en-suite, while our twin room has a private bathroom just across the hall. Every room includes a television with DVD and Freeview. With a beautifully designed restaurant The Best Beech serves delicious traditional food using locally sourced ingredients where possible.
