This hotel comes highly recommended for its really charming style and comfortable, homely atmosphere. Its proximity to the main station does mean, however, that at night there are sometimes some rather seedy characters on the streets round the hotel. The restaurant is also traditional and homely in style. This is an old building, with a dark grey facade like those of its neighbours. The lobby is very attractive, with its polished wood floor, comfortable leather seating and crackling log fire in cold weather. It is small, but there is plenty of room for guests to sit down in the adjacent breakfast area.
