The street where the house is located is quiet, as it is a secondary street with no noises at all. It is also narrow and with steps (usual in the ancient medina). There are no safety problems and tourists in Morocco are welcome and moreover, Chefchaouen is a sacred city. Due to the labyrinth that form the streets, it is necessary that the guest contact the manager on arrival day. The apartments comprises of a double room and a twin room equipped with sitting room with fire place, kitchenette and bathroom. They recreate the traditional environment of the old mountain city through their decoration and inner spaces. The suite has a double room, living room with kitchenette and the bathroom. An inner stair goes up to a special terrace, with a view of the medina (Alcazaba, Uta Hammam square). Dar el Moualim comprises of two apartments for 4 people and one suite for 2 located in the ancient medina of Chefchaouen, in the “Al-Andalus” area, five minutes from Uta Hammam Square and close to one of the entrances to the medina. All the furniture and decoration in the house have been attended to every single detail offering Chaouen traditional products.
