It is situated west of Naxos and east of Antiparos, in the centre of Aegean sea routes and 90 nautical miles from Pireaus. By Plane: Flight connections are via Athens and Thessalonika. By Sea: There are frequent connections from Pireaus and Rafina, other Cycladic islands, islands of the eastern Aegean, Thessalonika and Crete. These connections are made via ferry, catamaran and flying dolphin. The journey from Piraeus takes 4 hours and 30 minutes by ferry and 2 to 3 hours by fast boat.
