The hotel is situated in the centre of town, only 300 metres from the railway station and just 10 miles from the airport. A restaurant and bar are located within the hotel, where breakfast is served as well as three course dinners and light snacks in the evening. The hotel built in 1878 is the grandest and most stately in town with a ochre-coloured brick exterior and large domed windows. The neoclassical design is represented in the newer sections creating a complete building. The lobby is grand and welcoming in design. It has high ceilings and seating.
