The hotel, designed and built in the style of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism, convinces with its wonderful colours and out-of-this-world forms. With its colourful red-and-blue facade, the hotel stands in successful contrast the historical air of the Ducal City of St. Veit. The 4-star Fuchspalast art hotel is located close to the historical main square of St. Veit, also known as Ducal City and City of Flowers. St. Veit an der Glan is a city for shopping and sightseeing with a wide variety of other activities in the surrounding area, which features countless lakes, canyons, hiking areas and ski regions. The artistic design by Ernst Fuchs also works its way through the rooms of the Fuchspalast art hotel. The curtains were designed according to the artists plans and each room includes a print of one of his artworks. Each of the 60 modern, functionally appointed rooms has been assigned its own sign of the Zodiac and features its own individual colour and design. Twelve of the rooms have a connecting door, an ideal option for families. The hotel also has one barrier-free room. All rooms are in a quiet location separated from the seminar and conference area and feature: shower/WC, cosmetics mirror, hairdryer, telephone, WLAN, mini-bar and a safe.
