Green Gables is a well established guest house in Windermere, in the heart of the Lake District with excellent BandB facilities. We're conveniently placed just a one minute walk from Windermere centre and the perfect location to discover The Lake District. Windermere is easy to get to by train, coach or car and is one of the friendliest areas to holiday in Cumbria - an ideal area for that weekend break. Our welcoming bed and breakfast holiday accommodation has seen many guests return to Windermere year after year. At Green Gables we aim to help to make your visit to Windermere and the Lake District as special as possible. If you are with us for one night or a weekend break we will work hard to make sure you feel right at home in our welcoming BandB. We offer information on a wide range of pubs, restaurants, attractions and activities across Cumbria. We can even help visitors plan their stay well in advance of their visit. All our tastefully appointed rooms have colour TV, hair dryers and tea and coffee making facilities. We have a comfortable lounge bar on the ground floor where a good selection of canned and bottled beers is available together with a range of wines and spirits.
