Before motorways were built one of the most heavily trafficked places in this area called Trekantsomraadet was the Hejse crossroads nearly halfway between Fredericia- Vejle and Kolding. Even though the motorway bypasses the inn nowadays it is still a busy place. For example it is a fine spot to meet for people who come from all corners of the country. It is also a good place to spend the night if you are going to visit a fair in Fredericia. It is a tradition that the inn sends its guests home with a really good experience. Thus the chef only uses good ingredients. For example he makes up his own lunch platter which consists of fish- sausages- a little warm dish and cheese and in the evening the menu card naturally comprises Hamburg steaks with onions and classic plaice. Every day there is a course of the day at a very reasonable price. The inn has a number of different premises which are the perfect setting both for a cosy party of 20 persons and for a large company party with several hundred participants.
