This lovely country hotel is ideally located for excursions to anywhere on Iceland's ruggedly beautiful south coast and Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajokull. They are architecturally unremarkable, obviously built for practicality rather than looks to withstand some of the world's wildest weather.
