This newly refurbished hotel is situated in the heart of Kenilworth and is a short drive from Birmingham, the NEC (National Exhibition Centre) and Warwick. Kenilworth is a charming example of old england, and the 12th century Castle is a fascinating place to visit. This is a traditional 6 storey building with a large entrance and a narrow car park at the front. The hotel was built in 1967 and was renovated in 1996 to 3 Star standard, and now following it's major transformation has become a Holiday Inn. Guest can unwind and relax in a modern, newly refurbished restaurant called 212 Kenilworth Bar and Brasserie. A good choice of modern cuisine is served. A new Starbucks Coffee house (part of the extensive renovation work) opened in August to residents - an interesting touch. The hotel lobby is large and modern with a sky light enabling masses of natural light to come in. There is a long reception desk and seats placed near the window. There is lots of space for groups to check-in at the same time. The rooms are medium in size, contemporary in style and are all ensuite. Full facilities are offered including flat screen TV, hairdryer, telephone, radio and trouser press.
