Combining a serene and welcoming atmosphere with a splendid exterior the “Altes Kloster”, a new 4-star-hotel, is located right in the center of the medieval town of Hainburg an der Donau, offering a view of the river as well as of the Donau-Auen National Park. Thick walls and cross vaults from the 17th century convey a feeling of safety and peace, while at the same time the modern-style furniture of our 52 guest rooms, the spa area (sauna, steam bath, and infrared cabin), and two state-of-the-art conference rooms mirror the openmindedness and receptiveness of the 3rd millennium. This alternation of tradition and modernity is also reflected by our culinary offer, that basically and deliberately focuses on integrating organic foods from our farmers in the region.
