Many have cathedral ceilings and all were renovated in 2011. Guest accommodations feature king, queen, and 2 double bed configurations, as well as 2 handicap equipped rooms. The 2011 renovation provided each room with new carpeting and linens, high definition television, new lighting fixtures, wireless internet access, and electronic locks. Set amidst 20 acres on a knoll, the inn affords its guests a highly tranquil environment which is minutes away from the attractions of the Five College area to the south or the ski resorts of Vermont to the north. Resident innkeepers provide personal service and security. A free continental breakfast is open to all guests, and coffee and tea are available throughout the day. Local attractions include the historic village of Northfield, several restaurants for fine dining, the Kringle Candle Company, and well known preparatory schools, Northfield Mount Hermon and Stoneleigh Burnham. The inn ownership prides itself on being environmentally friendly, recycles trash and will soon install solar hot water and wood pellet furnace devices
