Our hotel looks down onto the quiet fishing village of Lochinver, and across the clear waters of the loch. The Inver Lodge Hotel offers visitors a tranquil retreat of outstanding natural beauty. For anglers, walkers, bird-watchers or anyone who loves nature, a stay here gives you the opportunity to experience the spectacular natural environment while enjoying the luxurious facilities and excellent cuisine of one of the best hotels in the Scottish Highlands. Atlantic seals in the harbour, golden eagles over the mountains, red deer on the moorland, leaping salmon and darting brown trout in the rivers and lochs. From its hillside setting, we are close to the distant outline of the Western Isles. With just 20 rooms, all enjoying the same spectacular view, our friendly staff ensure that you have everything you need to make the most of your stay. Canisp, Suilven, Assynt and Beannach -each of the comfortably appointed bedrooms are named after a nearby mountain or loch. The log fire roaring in the Scots Pine fireplace is the focal point of the relaxing Resident's Lounge, where the guests come to enjoy afternoon tea, a quiet game of cards or after-dinner conversation before retiring for the night. The Inver Lodge Hotel may seem like another world, but it is not difficult to reach. Regular flights between Inverness and London take just one and a half hours, a further two hours by car through beautiful Highland scenery will bring you to our door. Should you prefer to travel by car it is not difficult to find us: Take the M90 to Perth. Follow the signs for A9 Inverness. Follow the A9 North, travel over the Kessock Bridge. At Tore roundabout (end of dual carridgeway) take the second exit which is marked A835 to Ullapool and Dingwall. At the next roundabout Maryburgh, take the second exit A835 to Ullapool. When you arrive in Ullapool follow the signs marked North - A835. When you reach Ledmore Junction, turn left on to the A839 to Lochinver. Entering Lochinver village you pass through heading towards the harbour. Look out for the village hall on your left and we are the next turning on the left. Our hotel sign is at the bottom of the road entrance.
