Lifton Hall is a two star, Grade II listed building dating from the 16th Century that combines traditional character with modern refurbishments including wireless internet and digital TV. We're a family run hotel and aim to make your stay with us as relaxing as possible. We have 10 large, individually furnished rooms, all with en suite facilities. We serve locally sourced, home-cooked, honest food in a relaxed and charming atmosphere. We are ideally situated for touring the southwest, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of some of the major resorts. There are great beaches, wild moor land and some of Devon and Cornwall's best visitor attractions within easy reach. The old market town Launceston is only 5-10 minutes drive whilst both The Eden Project and the north coast can be reached within 45 minutes. Bodmin Moor and Dartmooor are under 30 minutes drive. For golf enthusiasts there are dozens of courses in the area, with the closest 10-15 minutes drive away. We currently offer the Out To Play Golf' scheme with two green fees for the price of one. Our bar has loads of traditional charm, including two open fires, and is the perfect place to enjoy an ale and some freshly cooked food. We have two outside seating areas where you can sit and enjoy a cream tea or a glass of chilled wine. Free wireless internet in most rooms and all communal areas. Pets are welcome. Free parking.
