This hotel in the centre of the picturesque village of Laerdal about 500 metres from the ferry terminal. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the main building. It is simple and clean. The hotel consists of 3 buildings, the main building houses the reception, restaurant and about 70% of the rooms. There are 2 other more traditional buildings located across the street which are absolute jewels of rustic yet ornate country hotel architecture from the 18th century. The lobby is large and simple in decor with adequate seating and has a very popular gift shop.
