Set back above the beach at Shanklin is the Melbourne Ardenlea Hotel, next to the beautiful wooded Chine Valley and thatched old village. Inside the hotel you will find a warm friendly atmosphere of a family run hotel. The beach below consists of areas of soft sand and flint pebbles backed by scenic cliffs which are accessed by wooded walkways and a cliff lift. The hotel offers a large indoor pool and sauna for guests to enjoy free of charge and a Jacuzzi which is coin operated. The lounges and bar are comfortable furnished and are the ideal place to relax after a busy day. Evening entertainment is provided most nights offering a varied programme of different acts.
