This superb finca hotel is nestled in a quiet valley at the foot of the Tramuntana mountain. Established a few centuries ago, the mansion has many architectural elements which are perfectly preserved even today. See the water cistern in the interior courtyard, which dates back to 1680, or the small chapel in one of the house s wings, which was built in 1798. What makes this estate even more magnificent is that valuable antiques are combined with modern facilities to create the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. In 1998, the estate became an agritourism hotel and a meticulous reform was carried out in 2005 to turn the old stable into a restaurant, install a new swimming pool, reform and redesign the terrace and gardens and expand accommodations capacity to 12 rooms. Monnaber Vell Agritourism Hotel nestles in a cosy valley at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains in the municipality of Campanet in Majorca , only 15 kilometres from the beaches in Pollenca and Alcudia. Monnaber Vell nestles in a cosy valley at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains. It borders on the east with the fertile plains known as "Es Pla", with Sa Pobla as its agricultural centre and the flourishing grape-growing trade in the environs of Petra, and barely 18 km to the north are the bays of Alcudia and Pollensa with their sandy beaches and coves` crystal-clear waters; a little farther north is Formentor Beach and its well-known lookout point, which offers commanding vistas of the area. A short stroll away is the Chapel of San Miquel, which was constructed after the Catalan conquest in 1229, and the Campanet Caves, which were discovered in 1945.
