Porthcove is a friendly and relaxing hotel set in an enviable position high on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, commanding unobstructed views over Porth, Newquay bay, and the surrounding coastline. Directly opposite are the golden sands of Whipsiderry Beach with access to the award winning Porth beach and Watergate Bay too. On the eastern side of Porth Beach is Porth Island, the site of an Iron-age settlement which is linked to the mainland by a footbridge, beneath it there are caves which can be exposed at low tide it's said they were once used by smugglers. Our accommodation is made up of sixteen rooms, all ensuite, with a choice of single, double, twin and family rooms available, many with stunning sea views. All rooms are tastefully decorated each with colour TV, radio alarm, hair dryer and teacoffee making facilities. We offer a range beers, wines and spirits to be enjoyed either in the bar, on the terrace while watching the amazing sunsets, or just while relaxing in our lounge admiring the views. Our large private car park provides ample parking for all our guests. For guests arriving by other means the coach and railway stations are just one and a half miles away, Newquay airport is approximately 6 miles and the bus routes pass within 30 metres of the hotel every 20 minutes.
