In the centre of the town of Franz Josef. Located one block back from the main highway. Franz Josef is approximately five and half hours drive from both Christchurch and Queenstown and three hours from Greymouth. This is a great boutique property ideally suited to individuals and small groups. Own transport is not necessary as the property is only 150 metres from the intercity coach stop and the retail area of Franz Josef. On site services include a laundry at separate charge, and complimentary use of a BBQ. Good property for those travelling on a normal budget. SE0508. A low rise modern building predominantly in wood with adjoining buildings making up the accommodation wings. A small functional lobby to process check in and provide local tourist information. The studio rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, straight forward rather than luxurious. All rooms have direct access to a small patio area with the Punga forest coming right up to the edge of the rooms. Each room also has basic kitchenette facilities, microwave and fridge. Sky TV channels are available in all rooms. Wheelchair accessible rooms are available. There is no restaurant on site though they can provide a continental breakfast delivered to the room at an additional charge. Within 150 metres there are a number of cafes and restaurants and a small supermarket. 135 kms to the airport (hokitika), 220 km to the nearest station (greymouth), 395 kms to the airport (christchurch).
