The hotel is located just of the A19, between Washington and Sunderland. Ideally located for those wishing to visit the Metro Centre, Beamish museum and the famous Catherine Cookson countryside. Just 30 minutes from Newcastle city centre, and a few minutes from Sunderland city centre the hotel is perfect for those looking to explore the night life of the cities. The hotel is a modern purpose built hotel ideally located for easy access to the neighboring towns of Newcastle, South Shields, Washington, Durham and of course Sunderland itself. The shopping centre the MetroCentre is on the doorstep, along with the home of Sunderland AFC, The Stadium of Light & Newcastle FC, St. James's Park. We are only a short drive to Newcastle City Centre with its excellent range of shops, bars and clubs. Required extra bedding is free in rooms shared by up to two children 14 or under and two parents/grandparents. Sofabeds and rollaway beds are only large enough to accommodate children 14 and under. A one storey brown bricked modern hotel, with extensive car parking for guests. All rooms are large in size and in good condition, as are the bathrooms. The lobby is rather small in size but has a very welcoming atmosphere.
