The guest house is located in Strazde parish, in a tranquil setting just 2 km from Kakisi and approximately 20 km from Talsi. Nearby are many great destinations for day excursions but this resort has so much to offer, you’ll never want to leave the grounds. Head to the on-site lake, where you can go swimming, fishing, or boating (the hotel has a charming hand-carved wooden rowing boat). Guests can also take a walk, observe the wildlife and pick berries in nearby forests and meadows or play a game of basketball, football, volleyball or tennis. Two outdoor tennis courts are ideally situated overlooking the water. In winter, enjoy cross-country skiing and exciting snowmobile rides. Later, unwind in the traditional bathhouse sauna by the lake. Residence Kurzeme also has a club house (available for meetings of up to 70 people). On the second floor there is a game room featuring a large-screen TV with DVD player, billiards, ping pong, foosball and more.
