On the outskirts of the town of Cervo, the Anatur hotel is located in the village of Santiago de Sargadelos, known as the home of the Royal Factory of Sargadelos, maker of blue-and-white glazed ceramics that are considered the finest pottery in Galicia. From Cervo it’s a short drive to the coastal fishing town of San Cibrao (also spelled San Ciprian) which has a good maritime museum (Museo del Mar). Two nearby Blue Flag beaches, Playa de O Torno and Playa de Cubelas, are excellent destinations for surfing and water sports.
