Julia and Colin seem to have thought of everything: spacious airy rooms, comfortable king sized beds, walk-in showers, large separate bath and flat screen TV. There’s also a desk, DVD player, under floor heating, home made goodies, free Wi-Fi and real milk in your own silent fridge. Each room has the same level of comfort but different decor; choose your favourite!There’s even a sheltered and private patio for guests that overlooks the mature landscaped gardens. The breakfast menu is extensive, using local and organic products where possible. It that wasn’t enough, there’s also lots of interesting art on the walls and stunning lighting throughout. Eco heating and water systems just add more to the list of interesting things about South Lodge!There is one good restaurant within walking distance; several more within 2 miles. Don’t want to eat out? Julia will organise a platter of meats and/or cheeses with some home baked bread for a light supper.
