The George Hotel of Stamford is a 16th century coaching inn situated in the heart of the historical town of Stamford. The hotel is easily accessible from the A1 with ample complimentary parking onsite. The hotel offers two fabulous restaurants; the Oak Panelled Restaurant and the Garden Room. The Oak Panelled Restaurant is justly famous for the quality of its cuisine, service and superb setting. The Garden Room is a relaxed, informal place to meet and dine yet retains the hotel's commitment to quality in food and service. All 47 bedrooms are individually designed with great flair and imagination, using only the finest materials, with en-suite bathroom, complimentary wireless internet connection, trouser press, hairdryer and flat screen television. Our on site Business Centre, is a fully integrated complex devoted to the servicing of meetings and conferences for groups of 2 to 50 delegates. The Business Centre houses three Boardrooms, one larger Conference Room and three Executive Offices and our dedicated Business Centre Manager is on hand throughout the day to make any arrangements for the meetings in progress. The hotel is also a very popular venue for weddings and licensed to hold civil ceremonies in one of our four charming rooms. Our beautiful Oak Panelled Restaurant can accommodate up to 110 guests for the wedding breakfast and our Business Centre makes the ideal venue for the evening reception, catering for up to 130 guests.
