At The Meadows B&B all of our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities / TV / Hairdryers / quality beds and linen. We have zip and link beds in 2 of the rooms so they can be 2 x large doubles or 2 x twin. This means we cqn accommodate up to 6 in either single or twin rooms - good for golfers. One of the double rooms has an en-suite which has a shower the other has a toilet/wash-basin en-suite. The singles share a bathroom. There are views to the hills and the house is just far enough from the main road to allow for a comfortable and quiet good nights sleep. Most people enjoy a full traditional cooked breakfast but I also offer a range of options. How about scrambled egg with smoked salmon & oatcakes? I use free range eggs quality sausages and usually bake my own bread. I grill rather than fry where appropriate. If you have any special dietary requirements let me know. Although there are good restaurants in the village sometimes I am asked to provide an evening meal and this I will do if given prior notice. Make West Linton your first stop in Scotland. On the A702 we are only 11 miles from the Edinburgh City By-Pass with easy access to the airport the Forth Bridge (handy for access to the Rosyth cruise terminal) and the North. Stay in West Linton and enjoy visiting Edinburgh with its International and Fringe Festivals Tattoo Botanic Gardens Zoo Historic Buildings and exciting shops. Local attractions around West Linton include Rosslyn Chapel in the village of Roslin. The Pentlands Science Park and Bio Technology Centre near Penicuik are also only a short drive away. Guests are welcome to use the lounge and the garden pets are welcome. All rooms have TV tea and coffee making facilities hairdryer and radio/alarm.
