East Looe is just a short walk away across the historically famous bridge, or ferry ride in season, where you will find numerous shops, restaurants, bistro's and pubs and of course a lovely sandy beach. Many people stop in Looe on their way around the costal path and there are some lovely walks and secluded coves to be discovered just around the corner. Looe also has excellent transport links with its own railway station and easy access to Plymouth by bus or car. The Old Malt House was built in 1650 and is a grade II listed building. It is situated just off West Looe Town Square where there are other buildings of similar age and older for example, The Jolly Sailor pub which is on the Looe heritage trail.
