At The Who'd Have Thought It Inn your comfort is our number one priority. With vaulted ceilings and original oak beams the rooms are luxuriously furnished with fine linens, top quality duvets and deep piled towels in the bathrooms. Additionally each room is equipped with a satellite flat screen TV, wireless broadband, hairdryer and tea coffee facilities. When dining with us we will only ever serve you food we'd be happy to be served ourselves, which is why all our chicken eggs are free-range. So is our pork. Our steak is 28 day hung Dartmoor beef and we avoid air-freighting fruit vegetables by buying seasonal British produce wherever possible. In the morning enjoy a leisurely breakfast from our a la carte menu ensuring the best start to your day. Guests and visitors to the area are presented with a wealth of activities and attractions within walking distance, from coarse fishing at Combe Fisheries to the glorious Buckland Abbey, once home to Sir Francis Drake and now owned by the National Trust. The colourful labour of love that is the Garden House is in nearby Buckland Monochorum and the surrounding area plays host to many studios, galleries and craft centres open to the public. A little further afield is the historic town of Tavistock with its Pannier Market and delightful range of independent boutiques, galleries and specialist shopping. Plymouth is a mere 15 minutes drive, with its unique naval history, the marina and the Barbican whose pubs and characters were a life long inspiration to local artists Beryl Cook and Robert Lenkiewicz. With the Royal theatre, legendary Plymouth Hoe and Fabulous shopping the city is a bustling fusion of history and modernity. Yet all this is perhaps dwarfed by the wild and spectacular Dartmoor National Park, which provides a craggy backdrop of moorland and Tors, wild ponies, rare birdlife and breathtaking views and what better base for refreshment and relaxation than the Who'd Have Thought It Inn, Milton Combe. Hotel Rating: Self Assessed 4 star
