Renovated in 2008, this hotel symbolises the uniting of the various cultures, histories and nations of Northeast Thailand. There are deep historical currents that underpin the cultures of these spectacular regions and which unite them in a sense of a common heritage. This resort comprises a total of 48 luxuriously-appointed rooms and villas with spectacular views. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and a cloakroom. There is a bar, a cafe and a restaurant and business travellers will appreciate the conference facilities and WLAN Internet access. Guests may also take advantage of the room and laundry services and they will find a bicycle hire station on the premises. Guests should note that it is illegal for them to cross the border to Laos via the Mekong River which lies in front of the resort as it is not the official border, however others may try to convince guests otherwise. It is strongly recommended not to do so. If guests would like to visit Laos, they should go to the border at Chong Mek, where there is an official immigration checkpoint.
