Both Lampeter and Aberaeron are on the Dylan Thomas Trail, a marked trail connecting locations associated with the Welsh poet and writer. One of the more popular Ceredigion attractions to the north is Ceredigion Museum, Aberystwyth, housed in a restored Edwardian theatre. To the south, the coastline between New Quay and Aberporth has some of the whitest sand beaches and cleanest, clearest waters in the United Kingdom. From the TyGlyn Restaurant & Conference Centre it is approx. a 1 hour drive to the town of Newport in the Preseli Hills section of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
