The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the lake Te Anau shore and the town centre, it is also adjacent to the local park. Te Anau is approximately 2.5 hours drive from Queenstown and 2 hours drive from Milford Sound. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner and can seat 74 people. It uses local produce where possible including Venison, Salmon and Crayfish. Decorated in a country style, this is an informal dining experience. The hotel is designed as American Western style town from the 19th Century , each room faces on to the courtyard and each one is individually decorated as a store or shop front. It is probably the only one of its kind in the Southern HemisphereA small functional lobby with plenty of local information on attractions and tour options.
