Wydon Farm BB is a working farm based on 366 acres of National Trust Bellister estate. Providing four star accommodation in a luxurious barn conversion, it is the only National Trust bed and breakfast farm in Northumberland. It is located near to Haltwhistle, Hexham, Corbridge, Haydon Bridge and Alston. It has its own pitches on the South Tyne river (one of the best salmon rivers in England) and a bridleway passes though the farm. It is easily accessible by road and the train station under a mile away. There are many of things to do and see. Visit Hadrians Wall, important Roman sites of Vindolanda, Housesteads, Birdoswald and Chesters, historic Alnwick Castle and gardens, Kielder Water, Northumberland National Park and beautiful coastline including Holy Island and Farne Islands. A host of sites can be accessed using the award winning Hadrians Wall Bus Service, which is less than a mile away. Wydon welcomes all types of guest like cyclists, walkers, families and dog owners. For the cyclist, there is the Hardians Wall cycle path and for walkers there is a host of Hadrians Wall national trails and shepherds walks. The BB has three large en-suite rooms. The four poster room has a whirlpool bath and all rooms come with colour TV, DVD player, tea coffee making facilities, central heating, fridge and clock radio.
